Windows 2000/Windows XP drivers for the Catweasel have gone through drastic changes since they have been taken over by a new programmer. More than 350 fixes in all four driver segments have brought the drivers to a stage where our internal betatesters did not report a problem within the last 30 days. The public beta version can now be downloaded from our support site. Direct download: CWMK42000.zip.
The most obvious update is that the Kylwalda-part of the Catweasel MK4 is now utilized. It allows sharing the floppy drive between the Catweasel and the onboard floppy controller: The A: drive can be used as long as the imagetool is not running. The other updates and changes in the drivers are so extensive that they can't even be listed in the changelog file. Please make sure not to mix the different driver and tool versions!

Since april 2006 we have an external warehouse for insurance reasons, which is located about 11km (7mi) away from the office. Early august of this year, we started to only dispatch parcels on tuesdays because we don't want to lose too much time because of almost daily drives to the warehouse and the different parcel services. This might lead to some web shops listing some of our products as "not available" although we have good stock. We are very well prepared for the forthcoming Christmas business: All products are available in large quantities. Our trade partners have the chance to take some stock at specially discounted prices until the end of this month, so they can improve their sales margin even if they have to pay some interest. We hope your local reseller will take some stock so you don't have unnecessary delays in dispatch of your orders.
new products delayed
The release of the A600 accelerator and the A500 version of the IDE controller Buddha will be delayed indefinitely. The main reason is contract work that will keep us busy for the next few weeks. Please refrain from requesting any of these products. The production of the new A1200 CPU slot connectors is going according to plan. The new products Catweasel MK2 anniversary edition and the A600 memory expansion are already available at out retail partners.
